Welcome to OmegaRebirth (OR or O4).

OmegaRebirth is a casual linkshell of friends that work together toward the same goal. Be it helping to gear up a friend, or complete certain missions/quests; the end result is the same. We strive to have a good time, win or lose.

We strive to be honorable amongst each other and others on the server. Because of that, we have guidelines that we live by. Playing by these guidelines is what will define us as one of the best linkshells on Fenrir.

We are not a Sky, Sea, or HNM linkshell. If you are looking for full-time experiences with these, please look elsewhere.

We do however strive to offer a Sky, Sea, Limbus, Salvage, and an overall Event filled experience run by LS mates for LS mates. If you are interested in some or all of these things in addition to a socialy friendly atmosphere, then you have come to the right place.

Board Registration and Participation is Required

All changes and important updates to our linkshell happen on the boards here. If you do not have an account or access, you will miss a great deal of important information. Also, having access and using it will help us to be better planned when setting up events (which happens quite often).

You don't have to have Mr. Miyagi like advice when you post, just reply to threads that catch your interest so we know you're here.

Minimum Requirements

There is no Level or Mission Requirement to Join OmegaRebirth; however, we do have recommendations. If you do not know anyone in OmegaRebirth; it's strongly recommended that you meet these before applying.

Recommended:
Level 65 (or higher)
Rank 6 / Sky Access
Tavnazia Access (Sea Access is a huge plus)

One Pearl Rule

Joining Omega means becoming part of our family. We cannot get to know someone if they are constantly spending their time off on another pearl. Because of this, if you are a member of Omega, it should be your only home.

Exceptions can be made for Dynamis or Limbus (if you cannot run during the times we do Limbus). Any other shells or event shells need to be cleared with a Sac Holder first. Social Linkshells are not an exception, no matter how small.

Need Before Greed (NBG)

The needs of LS are greater than your individual wants. While it's a bit more defined, an example of this would be giving a Jelly Ring to a PLD instead of a RDM who wants it for solo purposes. Another example would be selling a Kraken Club to better equip those who helped obtain it rather than letting it be someone's "toy" they use once every 2 hours.

Gil is also an important aspect of NBG. In some cases (like the mentioned Kraken Club), the gil would help the LS more than the item itself. Because of this, if someone sets up an ENM, BCNM, or KSNM run for gil making, you can't swoop in and declare NBG on items that you need. If you need a BCNM, KSNM, or ENM drop; setup a run for it letting people know your desire.

We have a lotting system in place for Sky. This system rewards those who attend, while holding true to NBG by making it easier for certain jobs to obtain certain pieces over others.

"Primetime"

While we have many people with many different schedules, the time you'll find most of our Linkshell online is between 7pm EST - 3am EST (4pm PST - Midnight PST).

You Are Expected to Be Self-Sufficent

Omega is not your personal gil bank. Do not beg for loans or gear in LS Chat. People may ask on occasion, but do not make a habit of it. There is a very visible line between asking and whining.

Purchasing gil does not make you Self-Sufficent. We all hate the gil farmers; don't support them. If you buy or sell gil, Omega is not the home for you

No Cheating

Do not use any 3rd party programs that give you a direct advantage over other players. If you are found using any of the above programs, you will be removed from the linkshell.

Using the Windower or Parser is fine, as it does not give a direct advantage over someone else.

General Niceness, No Rude Behavior, Don't Be an Idiot

Do not be rude to other players. An example would be if someone sucks, give them advice on how to play better instead of telling them they suck.

Do not steal mobs others are legitimately fighting if it happens to blink yellow for a moment. Remember, it sometimes takes a different strategy for special mobs depending on what jobs they have available.

If you are bored and just feel like killing something, do not kill mobs that someone is leveling on. Find something that people don't normally kill and go after it. This will help your boredom issue as well.

No rude or annoying /shouts no matter how pissed off or desperate you are. People who do this make our Linkshell look bad.

Do not be rude when a pull or claim does not go your way. Do not cheer the mob on, Do not plan MPK attempts, do not spam them to be annoying. Most of all, do not run to Alla or KI screaming "Bots!" because someone beat you.

Do not use Racial, Religious, or Sexist Slurs in any public chat channel. What you do behind closed doors is your business, but everyone else doesn't need to know about it.

Be courteous to others (Inside and Outside of LS). If someone asks you a question, at least give them the courtesy of a response. Exceptions can be made if the person asking is being rude. Remember, Blacklists are available for a reason.

Fine Print

Omega Leadership reserves the right to:
- Deny any applicant to Omega for any reason.
- Make changes to any rules above, or perform actions where this is no rule if it's believe to be in the best interest of the Linkshell
- Remove any member with or without publicly disclosing the reason.
